If on February 3, 1959 “the music died” then on April 5, 1994, the music, only being resurrected just years before, died again. This of course was the day Kurt Cobain committed suicide and this past week marked the 15th anniversary of the “death of grunge”. It is with equal parts remembrance and closure that we offer a playlist that will not only pay tribute but help us move past this day and look forward to the next musical renaissance.
