Announcing New Feature Article - “Where’s the Music?”

We are announcing a new feature article here at SATL. It will likely be a bi-weekly piece which features a band from the past that is no longer putting out music. We will attempt to find out where the members are at and what they have done since the last release from the band. Should be interesting, not just for us

Playlist - Kings of Covers

Do you remember that episode of Seinfeld; the one that features “Desperado” by The Eagles. Every time the character here’s it, he has to stop everything he is doing and listen. Well, that is me with “Use Somebody” by Kings of Leon. Apparently I’m not the only one that can’t get it out of my head because it is being covered

Paper Route - “Absence”

band - Paper Route
    Band:  Paper Route
    Album:  Absence

Albums of the Week - Dylan-esque

Most Anticipated:
Bob Dylan - “Together Through Life”

Kevin Devine and the Goddamn Band - “Brother’s Blood”
He is one of the great singer/songwriter’s of the past few years. He had a

Weekly News Wrap-up - Beyonce’s Got Talent

What is even funnier than the Beyonce “Today Show” hoax video? The fact that people actually believed it was true. I’m glad it received some exposure because people need to be more aware of just how far recordings can be manipulated. (youtube.com)

In the “I can’t believe it took that long” file, the Pirate Bay founders are filing for a mistrial. The
