The post-hardcore band, Poison the Well will be returning with a new album this summer. The album is due out June 16th, 2009 and is titled “The Tropic Rot”. This is there first album since 2007’s “Versions”, also released on Ferret Records. (aversion.com)

This Week in Videos:
Metric - “Gimme Sympathy”
Metric is returning with their self-released album, “Fantasies” due out April 7th. They have already released three singles, “Help I’m Alive”, “Front Row”, and now “Gimme Sympathy”. “Gimme Sympathy” is the first one to receive the official video treatment.

Metallica - “Broken, Beat and Scarred”
Whether the song or the album are actually worth listening is debatable, but one thing is for sure, this is the video they should have released first from “Death Magnetic”. The reason? Because this video actually showcases what Metallica is a solid live band that plays huge arena shows. This video actually makes you want to see them live.

One Day as a Lion - “Wild International”
You may remember us mentioning One Day as a Lion releasing an EP last July. The EP, although it was actually really good, went largely unnoticed. This could be due to the lack of promotion, but it seems now they are ready to promote with an official video release for “Wild International”.

Neko Case - “People Got A Lotta Nerve”
Finally we get a video for the first single from Neko’s new album, “Middle Cyclone”. The video resembles a children’s book, minus “… and they all lived happily ever after”.
