After last week’s Oscar playlist, I went looking further back for more great songs that either won or were nominated for best original song. Most of last week’s songs were recent (recent being withing the past 10-15 years), but there are many great songs from even further back:

Burt Bacharach - “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head” (from “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”)
