Where Are They Now - RATM

It seems that this is a Rage Against the Machine “where are they now week”, with two articles giving you the latest in news from two of its members. Yesterday’s post regarding Zack De La Rocha gave an update on the singer’s newest works and today we are looking at Tom Morello.

Tom Morello, we all know, has gone on to do many things since the break-up of RATM, my favorite being his cameo in Guitar Hero 3. But most recently he has been working on his solo music. He has already released an album under the name The Nighwatchman titled “One Man Revolution”. It was not what you might typically expect from Tom Morello, but rather Woody Guthrie or Bob Dylan.

Now Morello is set to release another album under the Nightwatchman moniker. This time friends Serj Tankian, Shooter Jennings and producer Brendan O’Brien assist with the release “The Fabled City” set for September. It may not be his influential heavy guitar rock but remember, “You don’t gotta be loud, son, to be heavy as shit.”
