I love this song because singer Cody Bonnette talks about his father leaving in such a heart-breaking tone that you can’t help but feel a little something something for him.

… And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead - “Will You Smile Again?”
Possibly my favorite song of 2005… it has been slowly creeping it’s way back into my ears.

Kinsey - “A Heightened Sense of Things”
An 8 minute epic from relative newcomer Kinsey. As far as I can tell they are unsigned. I don’t think that’s gonna be the case for very long.

Thrice - “Daedalus”
Best song off of their four album effort The Alchemy index. So much room in the mix it hurts. (a good thing)

HORSE the Band - “Lord Gold Throneroom”
Not to be confused with Band of Horses The forebearers of “Nintendocore.” Check out the video below… awesome.
